Led by Elias Colon, the Invention Convention is an exciting new program introduced to the Boys and Girls Club that encourages young people to unleash their creativity and explore the world of innovation. This program provides students with the opportunity to develop their critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities by challenging them to invent new and innovative solutions to everyday problems. The Invention Convention is open to students of all ages, from elementary school to high school, and is designed to spark their imaginations and inspire them to think outside the box.

Participants in the Invention Convention have the chance to turn their ideas into reality, as they work on their projects with guidance and support from experienced mentors. Throughout the program, they learn valuable skills such as collaboration, research, and project management, while developing their creativity and critical thinking abilities. The program culminates in a public showcase, where students have the opportunity to present their inventions to a panel of judges and an audience of peers, friends, and family members.

The Invention Convention is not just about inventing and showcasing new products, but it's also about empowering young people to become confident and capable problem-solvers. By participating in the program, students develop a lifelong love of learning and a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities. The Invention Convention is a unique and engaging program that provides young people with a platform to showcase their creativity and talent, and helps to shape their futures in a meaningful and fulfilling way.
