Homework Club
The Boys & Girls Club places a strong emphasis on academic achievement. To support this goal, the Ernest T. Brainard Academic Center offers the Homework Club, also known as Power Hour. This program provides students with a structured environment, staffed by knowledgeable individuals, to complete their homework and school projects. Many Club members lack a suitable space at home to complete their homework, making the Club a crucial resource for success. The Homework Club fosters a safe and supportive environment, offering access to educational resources and encouraging students to take charge of their learning. It is open to children of all ages, but primarily serves elementary, middle, and high school students.
